Should Working Parents Send Their Children to Daycare Centers?
When asked about whether they should send their children to daycare centers, working parents may findit hard to come to consensus. Those who advocate the idea of sending children to daycare centers believethat children can get better professional education which they can’t receive when watched over by theirrelatives. What’s more, children can make more friends in daycare centers. Most important of all, childrenhave more opportunities to build independence and confidence in daycare centers.But the opponents hold the viewpoint that children can get one-on-one care at home, which is almostimpossible in daycare centers. They also think children can get meticulous attention as well as sufficient lovewhen taken care of by relatives because of the blood bond. Last but not least, children may be maltreated indaycare centers since not every teacher in daycare centers has the kindness and conscience.From my point of view, working parents had better send their children to daycare centers in spite of thosedisadvantages, because children can communicate with far more peers there, which has a positive influenceon the formation of a child’s character.
